Why Bernie Sanders will not endorse Hillary Clinton tomorrow

in Bernie Sanders/Democracy Now/Election/Hillary Clinton/Main Stream News/Media by

Mainstream media is speculating that Bernie will endorse Hillary Clinton tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow July 12, 2016 Bernie Sanders will abandon everything he’s ever believed in, everything he’s ever fought for and endorse an active opponent who blatantly participated in suppressing the voices of his supporters.

I think not.

He is working within the confines of a system he is actively trying to change. A system he has spent decades pushing to adopt a saner, more rational, less militant, more humane way of functioning.
It is not in his or anyone else’s best interest to suddenly promote a candidate who has enthusiastically cock blocked his every attempt to initiate progress. An endorsement at this point in time would serve absolutely no purpose and if we know anything about Bernie Sanders it is that he is a purpose driven man.

The Democratic National Convention looms large, with predictions of historic attendance of people who have heard Sander’s call to action, whose voices have been muffled by the powers that be, who are willing to leave their couches, televisions, jobs and homes behind for four days, to spend money they don’t have to travel to Philadelphia to stand with him in the face of seemingly insurmountable opposition and say once again..

“This is wrong”.
“This must change.”
“We reject the status quo”.

Does Bernie plan to show up to the massive rallies planned merely two weeks from now dressed in a blue pants suit and a coiffed blue bob standing next to Hillary and Elizabeth shouting at the crowd to put their hands up in the air for our gal Hillary?
I’d be pretty darn surprised.
