States That Use Obamacare the Most All Voted for Trump

in Donald Trump/Welfare by

A snapshot of our American political-demographic landscape could reveal some peculiar things. Focus on states that use the most governmental aid, and you’ll be shocked that those are the reddest of red states. Also, states won by Trump revealed the highest Obamacare enrollment numbers by the mid-December deadline. It’s like an episode of The Twilight Zone.

The single ideology that unites every Republican is that moochers are bad. Every Republican abhors those minorities that sit in their ghetto apartment pumping out three babies a month. In a shocking twist, it seems as if those same Republicans are actually the real moochers.

According to the US Census Bureau, the states with the highest number of federal aid recipients are all red states. Wallethub article

* Mississippi (45.3%) * Louisiana (44%) * Tennessee (41%) * South Dakota (40.8%) * Missouri (39.4%) * Montana (39%) * Georgia (37.9%)

Before you Republicans start screaming your two favorite words (“fake news”), please accuse my sources, the US Census Bureau of defamation first. That is not fake. Neither is an excerpt from this 2014 MotherJones article,

On Wednesday morning, Republicans won a years-long battle over whether to slash or spare food stamps when the House passed the farm bill, a $500 billion piece of legislation that funds nutrition and agriculture programs for the next five years…..

….But conservatives said the cuts were not deep enough, Democrats said they were far too deep, and the bill failed, 234-195. That September, House Republicans drafted new legislation slashing $40 billion from the food stamp program. That bill passed the House with Republican votes only.

Let’s recap the data I have unveiled in the past few paragraphs. Although Republican states use up the most financial aid, they elect politicians that actively take away such aid. Thus, maintaining the poverty levels in these states.

More evidence to the seemingly outrageous hypothesis I just introduced, concerns states that voted for Trump. The states with the biggest Obamacare enrollment numbers since the deadline in mid December are all states that voted for Trump. The guy whose number one platform is to dismantle Obamacare.

* Florida, (about 1.3 million) * Texas (776,000) * North Carolina (369,077) * Georgia (352,000) *  Pennsylvania (290,950). Yahoo article

The most obvious evidence of this trend can be seen in the expansion of Medicaid, the health plan for the poor, under the Affordable Care Act. Of the 10 states with the biggest dependency gap, as determined by Wallet Hub, seven — Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, South Dakota and Tennessee — have decided not to expand their Medicaid programs, even though the funding would come from federal coffers. Huffington Post article

In summary to this perplexing article, education (or lack of) explains why these states vote against their best interest. According to a Bloomberg article, people with less education were far more likely to vote for Trump than Clinton.

That really shouldn’t be much of a shock. You can’t be the sharpest tool in the shed, if you vote so your family doesn’t have healthcare.

    FB Insane republicans.

    Since the Citizens United decision, the insanity of our elected politicians is not insanity! It is all about the Money!

    Money Talks and Ethics Walks!

    Sadly there is already way too much money in our elections. Why do you think John McCain and his fellow senator Jeff Flake vote to give away Apache sacred lands to an off-shore strip mining company, Rio Tinto? McCain and Flake do not do this for fun. They do it to enrich their Super PACs. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan do not try to destroy the ACA because they’re just good little capitalists and believe in free, free markets for health care? They do it because of the millions that will go into their Super PACs. Do you get it yet?

    The money has corrupted our democracy from top to bottom. It is time to change this. We need federal financing of every election in the USA down to the local Dog Catcher. If any good little Daddy Warbucks capitalist decides to buy media for any candidate or proposition then direct to jail with Bernie Madoff.

    Get all the money out of all our elections! Now!

  2. Okay seriously though, the reason they voted for trump is because healthcare is still ridiculously expensive, and especially in those states where doctors are handing out pain killers like theyre making it rain in the club. Their healthcare is affordable, but barely. They saw trump as a way to reduce the cost of this healthcare – but they are also being lied to about what the reform will mean under trump and the GOPs blood sucking and voucher loving ways.

    I honestly feel really bad for these people.

  3. It’s again insurance companies leaving cause they can get more profits. Then companies leave and ones remaining charging so much higher feed. That’s why it should have been single payer system. That is what will happen with Paul Ryan’s advantage plans instead of Medicare single payer..run up costs or move out if not enough profits. It shouldn’t be about profits and greed.

  4. Blue states have typically higher incomes, higher rates insurance coverage, lower divorce rates….and the states that would need help because they are poorer…they went for Trump. Pennsylvania is a bad example of a Blue or Red state, but why if you live in Alabama or Kentucky would want to through away your health coverage? It’s totally confusing to me.

  5. what now? i am more a peaceful person – everything within the limits of the law. The problem with these trump voters is that a lot of them will not realize they’ve been conned , i believe quite a few of them don’t even have the intelect to understand what is really going on…..

  6. Calling people “stupid” and “Dumb” is NOT the answer – STAY ANGRY AND REMEMBER THIS ANGER IN 2018. The Tea Party did this quietly in 2010 when they took over many of the State houses (look what they’ve done to North Carolina) – it is up to YOU and ME to TAKE THE STATES BACK in 2018! there are 36 governor’s races IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS. REMEMBER THAT!
