Why Isn’t Saudi Arabia on Trump’s List of Banned Muslim Countries?

in Donald Trump/Islam/Muslim by

You don’t have to be the sharpest tool in the shed to figure out that Trump doesn’t like Muslim. During his campaign, Trump would scream at his rallies how he wanted to block Muslims from entering America. Somewhere, deep in that gigantic orange cranium, Trump figures that Muslims are terrorists. As a result, Trump made up this list with seven middle eastern countries that apparently are filled with Muslims. Anyone from these countries are banned to coming to America.

Saudi Arabia’s absence from this list is quite a mystery. For one thing nearly all 28 million citizens of Saudi Arabia are Muslim. In fact, Saudia Arabia is geographically the center of the Muslim faith. The prophet Muhammad born and died in Saudi Arabia. The country is home to some the faith’s most important holy sites.

Saudi Arabia citizens have also been involved in several terrorist attacks on US soil. Fifteen terrorists from 9-11 were from Saudi Arabia. Osama Bin Laden came from a very wealthy Saudi family.

Iran is one of Trump’s banned countries.

A quick comparison of Iran to Saudi Arabia will confuse many people as to why one is on the list and the other isn’t.

For one thing, the 2o00 census showed Iranians were the one ethnic group in America with the highest education. More than one in four Iranians have a Masters.

What sort of president willingly sends away brilliant components of society? His job is to make our country better. How does he do this by kicking out our doctors and scientists?

Since 9-11, there has not been one terrorist on US soil from any of Trump’s seven banned countries.

The reason why affluent Saudi Arabia is not on Trump’s list, but poor countries like Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen are, could be money.

NY Times article sums it up perfectly,

President Trump’s executive order banning travel to the United States from seven predominantly Muslim countries is being rightly challenged in the courts for, among other things, its unconstitutional interference with free exercise of religion and denial of due process. Overlooked in the furor is another troubling aspect of the situation: President Trump omitted from his ban a number of other predominantly Muslim nations where his company has done business. This adds further illegitimacy to one of the most arbitrary executive actions in our recent history, and raises significant constitutional questions.

According to the FBI, Latinos have killed more Americans in terrorism acts.

Obama respected Middle Eastern religions, he would never use the words “Islamic terrorism”, because he refused to relate a religion with an organized structure of mayhem.

Trump does not share Obama’s prudence. Undoubtedly, this will offend many Muslims. As a result, terrorism acts in America will most definitely soar.

All I can do is pray that you or your family members won’t be the next victims.

“It sends an unmistakable message to the American Muslim community that they are facing discrimination and isolation,” Mr. Benjamin said. That, he said, will “feed the jihadist narrative” that the United States is at war with Islam, potentially encouraging a few more Muslims to plot violence. Dailykos article

  1. Duh!….our biggest coustomer? Gee I wonder?…$30 Billion dollars a year on weapons…hell yes you better believe it..do you know how much money America makes on things being just the way it is…peace is not good for busness…

  2. Oil,oil, weapons, oil, weapons and oil.

Does anyone think it strange that the USA is one of the largest oil importers in the world yet they are sitting on reserves which would last around 700 years if they were using purely their own.

Anyone would think that the USA is playing the long game

    • Then why didnt Obama put Saudi Arabia in the “countries of interest” in 2015? Trump only called out Syria to add to the “countries of interest” compiled by Obama and Homeland Security to inhibit/restrict travel, immigration, green cards, VISAs, etc

hmmmmm…..its ….almost….as if…..we fight Saudi Arabias wars/enemies, destablize regions for their oil, and we get deals with them and protect them……almost ….as if….the oligarchs behinds the scenes call the real shots.

  3. Te Saudi have a “special” relationship not only with Ameica but with Drumpf. Oil, $$$ laundering, executing dissidents, pals with the Bushes, money laundering with Clintons thru Foundation. Their DC Embassy is protected by the SS (has new meaning today). Hey what an I saying? Saudi Arabians should all be sent home, and their property confiscated (all 12% of USA of it) and their ambassador sent home too. So how come no one shrieked Impeach Bush–he traded with the Saudis whilst president, both of em did. Would have changed history a bit.

  4. at least they are trying to inform the public why they are implementing the ban. that ‘s respect of course what i’m hearing is even though we have been resonably safe with efforts of obama no one but the republicans and their paranoid mindset know how to do it right. some of the leaders carrying out trumps orders may be sincere but the entire fiasco has done more harm than good. they have hurt innocent people and one is too many. you don’t play per centages with human lives. i’d be surprised if their continued paranoia doesn’t continue to inflame feelings toward the US putting us in more danger and in the end they will find out obama did a good job.

  5. By asking this question you admitting that there are countries that need to be on the list, and also admitting you are willing to watch your fellow citizens being murdered to advance your political goals.

  6. Trumps Muslim ban is theatrics & smoke & mirrors, for his gullible base of Idiots!! He has no businesses in the countries banned!! Saudi’s & Lebanese are known to have carried out terrorism acts in the US, yet they are not banned… $$$$ talks & The true terrorists walk.. ;(

  7. It was Saudi Arabia that attacked us on 9-11 so bush shock and awed Iraq and smoked cigars with a Saudi prince on the WH balcony. We help to destroy Syria for the Saudis and the Zionist Israelis, and don the con bans the victims of these war crimes. Have we had enough yet or are we that fucking stupid?

  8. Because only Syria was in his executive order and he just referenced the 6 other countries listed as the “countries of concern” in the existing law which put severe restrictions on visas for people traveling from those countries.

  9. ACCORDING TO the USA ………..The countries who give them information about travellers are exempt from exclusion. Travellers can still be refused admission to the USA even if they have valid visas…My suggestion is do not go to the USA unless you have to.

  10. We attacked Iraq because we wanted to overthrow the government. That was the plan. Look at the countries that use the Central Banking systems and which ones don’t. That’ll tell you which countries we are in conflict with and which countries we will be in conflict with in the near future. They are Wars for the Federal Reserve and for control over the oil. United States has to make conflict in the Middle East before we go in and overthrow the government. That’s what we were doing to Syria. We are not there for humanitarian purposes. We are not on the right side of this war. Hillary Clinton wanted to overthrow the Syrian government. It would have caused war with Russia. It is for the control of the oil pipelines going across Syria into Europe. Syria or Russia neither one uses the central banking system. The desired end result is New World Order.

  11. The list, dear friends was written by Wolfowitz in 1991.

By the strangest coincidence, those are the seven countries

    **(except Yemen substituted for Lebanon)**

that WE THE USA, have been BENT ON DESTROYING since 1991, when the Wolfowitz Doctrine was issued. Every president since then has done his part, including Obama (and Hillary, goading him into Libya). What’s worse, being denied a visa, or being droned at the funeral of your parents, I ask you?

As former Supreme Commander of NATO, Gen. Wesley Clark, told Amy Goodman at the 92nd Street YMCA in front of a large crowd:

“About ten days after 9/11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in. He said, “Sir, you’ve got to come in and talk to me a second.” I said, “Well, you’re too busy.” He said, “No, no.” He says, “We’ve made the decision we’re going to war with Iraq.” This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, “We’re going to war with Iraq? Why?” He said, “I don’t know.” He said, “I guess they don’t know what else to do.” So I said, “Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?” He said, “No, no.” He says, “There’s nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq.” He said, “I guess it’s like we don’t know what to do about terrorists, but we’ve got a good military and we can take down governments.” And he said, “I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail.”

So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, “Are we still going to war with Iraq?” And he said, “Oh, it’s worse than that.” He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, “I just got this down from upstairs” — meaning the Secretary of Defense’s office — “today.” And he said, “This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.”

  12. Because aren’t bombing them, you people are over thinking it. Sure, we do terrible shit with them, but the list was created by Obama not Trump. Grow up and focus on the issues instead of the tabloid reporting of our corporate media and the spineless politicians who follow suit.

This whole thing is political cover for the other shit he’s doing that we should be deeply troubled by. In case you missed it, our military is used for the assassination of women and children now and not with bombs, with guns and knives. Let that sink in.

  13. John is correct it was well before Obama , People have to understand Presidents don’t control the country the Military Industrial Complex corporation billionaires do. War profiting . You and your presidents lost that control Nov 22/1963
