Former White House strategist Steve Bannon spoke at a conservative rally a few nights ago. He advised the crowd not to worry about Democrats. Instead, their enemy should be the “corrupt and incompetent Republican establishment.”
Venn diagram this.
Steve Bannon wants to destroy the Republican party. Steve Bannon was considered Donald Trump’s chief strategist. Donald Trump is a republican.
Clearly, something is not right here.
If I was a republican, I would be very pissed. I voted for someone to be president, on a party that they are now trying to destroy. If I considered myself a republican, I would feel tricked.
“It’s not the Democrats, we’ll get to them and we’ll beat them, like we beat Hillary Clinton,” Bannon said. “But the first thing you’ve got to get through is a corrupt and incompetent Republican establishment,” Steve Bannon told the crowd.
During his speech, Bannon said he left the White House because Trump “needed a wingman to go against the Republican establishment.” Trump has no allegiance to the Republican party. He was a democrat for most of his life. His kids couldn’t even vote for him during the primaries, because they were all registered Democrats! Since Bannon got Trump elected, Trump’s allegiance lies with Bannon. No one helped Trump connect with his base, and ultimately win the presidency, than Bannon. Bannon supplied Trump with a mouthpiece to communicate directly to his supporters. However, Bannon is not Republican. Bannon wants to destroy the Republican. During Bannon’s interview with 60 Minutes recently, he reiterated how some Republicans in Washington still have no idea that their party is not in power anymore. Republicans lost the election.
I thought this was the most important detail of Trump, which has really been ignored. Trump was propelled to the White House on the shoulders of people who hated Republicans and Democrats alike. Republicans did not win the election. Instead, their party was hijacked. This should be a wake up call to all politicians. Trumpkins are typically angry, uneducated and poor – the perfect ingredients for persuasive media outlets. They live in small rural communities. Some have to drive 100 miles to the nearest hospital. They have been ignored by Washington. And then Trump arrived.
As those swastika waving supporters cheer in the audience, I wonder if they remember that Bannon cooks meth in his house. Why would you value what someone like that has to say? Granted, a good majority of that audience probably was cooking something, but don’t they have respect for the leaders of our country? This meth-head has been able to control the entire country. Hatred sells, and Breitbart is the main dispenser.
Level headed Americans need to remember that Breitbart is not republican. According to them, Mitch McConnell is just as wicked as Nancy Pelosi. The alt-right does not discriminate, they hate everyone equally.
At the base, this political ideology may not appear to be so damaging. However, when you look at the steps the president has already done to compel this initiative, it gets petrifying. Not to pat myself on the back or nothing, but my articles have been covering it all along. Just a few days ago, I wrote this, Trump is Hiring Parking Attendants and Cabana Boys to Fill Lucrative Positions at the USDA, Is he Seriously Trying to Destroy Our Government? Is it a coincidence, that our president is trying to dismantle important government departments, and his mentor-in-chief is wants to destroy our government? Plus, Russia placed this Manchurian candidate in the White House.
Even if Trump admitted that he is trying to destroy our government, his brainwashed groupies would still support him. Republicans have been bitching about a smaller government for decades. For example, Republicans prefer private industry makes the money on healthcare as opposed to the government. That explains why they’ve been fighting healthcare for your children so vehemently. The minute we go single-payer, and big pharma starts competing with government, big republican donors will lose money.
The Tea Party is right up there with the alt-right. The Tea Party is the party credited for all of the dysfunction in Washington. The number one problem with our government is the gridlock. And the gridlock is caused by the Tea Party. When the Tea Party weasled itself into our government, obstructionism became vogue. In 2010, Mitch McConnell, the leader of the Republican party vowed to make Obama a one term president and block everything Obama tried to pass. This was the exact course Republicans meticulously followed through Obama’s eight year term.
Keep in mind, Mitch McConnell made this comment in 2010, on the eve of the midterms. Republicans did great that evening. In fact, in 2o10, Republicans picked up more seats than any mid-term election since 1938. Mitch McConnell’s seemingly disastrous comment, pledging not to lift a finger to work with Democrats, was magic to Republicans. Republicans would much prefer to sit in the the corner for four years, with their arms tightly crossed at their chests, than work with Democrats. They hated Obama with a passion!
There is mounting evidence that some Republican elected officials are beginning to foresee the cliff over which Tea Party representatives are headed and fear the damage, even destruction, the Republican party might suffer. It is ludicrous in the extreme for new Tea Party members to claim respect for the House and the Senate and then behave in the most disrespectful manner possible. If these radical individuals wish to alter the American form of government, juvenile behavior is hardly the way to achieve it. Anti-government forces must acknowledge that the size and shape of the national government does not change that much when Republicans are in power.
Ironically, in 2014 Steve Bannon gave the same advice to his Tea Party comrades, regarding destroying the republican party. He said “the tea party’s biggest fight is not with the left,” but rather with “the Republican establishment, which is really a collection of crony capitalists.” NYMag
In 2013 Steve Bannon said this, “I’m a Leninist. Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal, too. I want to bring everything crashing down and destroy all of today’s establishment.”
You are not the sharpest tool in the shed if you actually vote to put someone like that in office.
Which brings us to the topic of education. Isn’t our nation’s lack of education the reason that we are in this terrible predicament to begin with? Who would hand the country over to a someone who calls themselves a Leninist? Who would vote for someone who pledges not to work cooperatively with other politcians? If our nation was better educated, it wouldn’t be so easy to trick an American into voting against his country. But alas, Putin pulled the wool over all of their eyes.
