During the election, Trump won a lot of votes because of his perceived attributes. According to The Donald, he had attained his trillions of dollars because he was a great negotiator and his business skills. Anyone who argued differently was quickly ridiculed. Donald Trump is a great business leader. According to him, that is a fact. He convinced America, that we needed such a leader. Turns out, he was just trying to get our vote. Sadly, he tricked the majority of America. He isn’t even a decent negotiator and his business skills suck. Don’t feel bad if you were tricked. Lots of people were. If your vote was cast according to Dennis Rodman’s logic, than you too, were tricked.
“We don’t need another politician, we need a businessman like Mr. Trump! Trump 2016.”
Although Donald Trump was heralded as possessing these magnificent business skills, he hasn’t produce a single law yet after almost a year as president. More astonishing, is the fact that the entire government is republican. They control all branches of power still, Trump is in jeopardy of becoming the least effective president in American history.
Everything Trump does, damages our country. It has gotten so bad, that today Senator Bob Corker suggested that our president ” just leave it to the professionals for a while.”
Praise Donald Trump all you want, but any president understands the importance of maintaining a good relationship with the other Washington politicians. However, Donald Trump stubbornly refuses to turn the other cheek with any squabble he has with other politicians.
Senators Bob Corker and John McCain, for example, are very respected by their peers. If you are a president, these are the last guys you want to piss off. However, their feuds with Donald Trump seem to escalate more every day.
Donald Trump is unable to put a feud to rest. That same urge that compelled you to have the last word, when screaming with your little sister when you were seven, still possesses our president.
Bob Corker, who helped President O give us the bad Iran Deal & couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Tennessee, is now fighting Tax Cuts,” Trumptweeted. “Corker dropped out of the race in Tennessee when I refused to endorse him, and now is only negative on anything Trump. Look at his record!
This style of governance is not presidential. In fact, making enemies among people who will be voting on your legislation is the opposite. Trump has one last chance to pass a bill before recess, which occurs in a few weeks. His tax bill. Ironically, all Trump cares is his tax bill. Trump’s sponsors, contributed millions of dollars, so that Trump would pass this tax bill.
Trump will need every single republican vote, if he wants to get this passed. A great negotiator would have no problem. However, Trump has personally attacked 11 senators. Almost a quarter of the 52 Republican senators. What great negotiator, is going to shame and humiliate those he needs to negotiate with? In his creepy early morning tweets, Trump has denounced all 11 of these senators. If these same senators are only as stubborn as our president, than there is no chance that his tax bill will be passed.
His feud with Senator John McCain defies anything that may be misconstrued as presidential. Not only has McCain been in office for thirty years, but he is also dying of brain cancer, he was also a POW. Few Americans, if any, deserve more respect than this guy. However, Trump continues his middle school playground squabble with him. It is disgusting!
Yeah, well I hear it. And people have to be careful because at some point I fight back,” McCain said. “I’m being very nice. I’m being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back, and it won’t be pretty. NYMag
So minus Corker and McCain’s votes, Trump would need every single other vote. What do you think are his chances?
All my articles point in the same direction. Trump’s battle plan in picking fights with everyone he needs to get his bills passed, is the wrong thing to do for a politician. However, if Trump’s big goal is to start TrumpTV, the more fights he picks with establishment politicians, the more subscribers he will have.
