Republicans keep slashing, and America is bleeding. Like all wounds though, this large scab will heal. Republicans now control the Supreme Court for decades. As a result, political analysts are already predicting American bedrocks like abortion, affirmative action, gerrymandering voting rights, gay rights and the death penalty will certainly be adjusted if not obliterated. But we are not a country of conservatives. Remember, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.
I have written a trillion articles about how the United States, as well as the world is becoming more liberal. There is no argument there. In the past decade, we have legalized gay marriage and drugs. Everyday, immigrants keep pouring in.
White deaths also exceeded white births in the nation as a whole for the first time in U.S. history in 2016, according to data from the National Center for Health Statistics. When births fail to keep pace with deaths, a region is said to have a “natural decrease” in population, which can only be offset by migration gains. In seventeen of the twenty-six states with white natural decreases, the white population diminished overall between 2015 and 2016. APL
Does anyone else see the peril ahead? Our bleeding will not be bandaged. While our demographics are reflecting the global trends, and becoming more ethnic and liberal, our highest court will be staunchly conservative. How’s that gonna jive? I’ve written many articles about how the republican party has been dead a for a while. They were dead long before Trump. Think Trump is bad? At least he didn’t plunge the country into a war and a depression based on lies, like Junior did! Trump was only elected because republicans were fed up with the usual snake oil republican salesman.
Considering that Hillary still won the popular vote, imagine how the election would be without Russia’s interference!! She would have had a huge victory. As a result of Trump and Russia, our country’s highest court will not represent the people.
The country is clearly motivated by liberal ideologies. According to a poll taken by Pew Research last year, a vast majority of Americans are pro abortion. According to a poll taken last year by the conservative Gallup, “Americans’ support for the death penalty has dipped to a level not seen in 45 years.” Lastly, according to a Pew research poll taken a year ago, a majority of Americans support gay marriages.
How will we go on as a country, when the highest judicial decisions do not reflect us? Only time will tell. As usual though, the only Americans that’ll be served under republicans are the uber wealthy.
