Undoubtedly, China, North Korea and Iran have some hacking plans for our next election. Why shouldn’t they? Russia actually placed someone in the White House. Plus, the White House has not imposed a single action that might dissuade Russia from interfering in our next election. Putin’s election theft was expensive, $1.25 million a month, according to Mueller’s indictment, but it’s profits have been ten fold. Putin showed to the world that to divide America is easy to get away with.
Russia will be involved in our next election. However, political analysts speculate that Putin will divide American by switching sides and helping the democrats next. Putin will become a king maker. He chose a republican to be our president, and the next election he chooses a democrat.
In a pragmatic view, if Putin just helped conservative politicians, wouldn’t that weaken the efficacy of his hacking operation? In other words if Putin just published articles defaming democrats, wouldn’t we eventually be able to spot them, and hence, illustrate his hoax. Instead, if Putin publishes one article soiling a democrat and then another article soiling a republican, us Americans would have no clue what to believe and what not to. If he wants to divide America, he will be more effective playing both sides instead of just one.
Essentially, this is Putin’s ultimate goal, to sow discord across America. Remember during the election, the Kremlin would hype American racial unrest by spreading racial animus on both white supremacist sites and African American sites? Russia has no affiliation with either group. They just care about sowing discord. JSOnline
Coincidentally, our number one media conglomerate also seeks to sow discord across America. Ironically, Fox News is owned by foreigners. Fox is in the business of capitalizing on American discord. Putin views Fox as his greatest ally. For example, when the Parkland shootings occurred, and disgusting Fox News host Laura Ingraham began making fun of one of the little high school student victims, America was shocked. As a result, advertisers ditched her in droves. One key Twitter demographic continued to support her though – Russia linked accounts.
Russia-linked Twitter accounts and bots are rallying in support of Fox News host Laura Ingraham after she drew scorn for mocking Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg’s grades on Twitter. BusinessInsider
You think Russia really gives a rat’s ass about David Hogg, Laura Ingraham, or Florida school shootings? Of course not. They just see an opportunity to flame a passionate debate. In this same vein, if Putin seeks to weaken the West, helping out the democrats next election will be a lot more impacting than helping the republicans.
James Comey explained Putin’s strategy,
It’s not about Republicans or Democrats. They’re coming after America, which I hope we all love equally. They want to undermine our credibility in the face the world. They think that this great experiment of ours is a threat to them. And so they’re going to try to run it down and dirty it up as much as possible. That’s what this is about, and they will be back. Because we remain—as difficult as we can be with each other—we remain that shining city on the hill. And they don’t like it.”
Fox News may not want to destroy America like Russia does, but they are just in it for the money. Russia wants to divide America. For Fox News, discord is much more profitable than harmony. If everyone is happy and content, then they won’t watch Fox News as much as if they are socially and politically resentful.
